About Your Massage Therapist

Justine TutuskaJustine Tutuska, MPH, LMT is a NY State licensed massage therapist, with additional training and certification in pregnancy massage and infant massage instruction. I am certified in Holistic Stress Management and hold a Master's Degree in Public Health / Health Promotion.

I spend much of my time as an Assistant Professor of an academic program at a local college, teaching coursework in community and holistic health. I am committed to the idea of civic and global responsibility, having traveled to Kenya, Tanzania, Laos, China and the Dominican Republic to learn about culture and health care, and to bring health education and support, particularly in areas of sexual health, women's health and HIV/AIDS prevention.

I am the current Vice President of the Board of Infant Massage USA, and am active with Life Cycles Center, a non-profit organization in Buffalo, dedicated to education for moms and families.

MotherMassage® training provides in depth information, research, and practice in the following areas: physiology of pregnancy, labor and postpartum, skills and competencies to massage clients from first trimester through labor and postpartum recovery, full body prenatal massage practice with positioning in sidelying, recumbent, chair and with use of Body Cushion System™, labor support massage, postpartum massage, with special attention paid to high risk pregnancies and treating common discomforts of pregnancy including low back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, and contraindications and precautions of prenatal massage.
